I am a retired osteopathic family physician. My experiences, especially interacting with my patients over the years, bring me to my writing. I started to simply express my thoughts. It wasn’t until I was involved in a severe auto accident that I viewed the world and my immediate surroundings in a different light.
While the circumstances may not have been ideal, the catalyst for creativity often comes about in unique ways most people would not imagine possible. During my recovery period, I took the time to develop characters and craft a few stories.
I have found inspiration from the real stories of my friends and family that have shared with me through the years, including a combination of funny, tragic, whimsical, and truly marvelous tales. I constantly seek the input of other writers, editors, publishers, or anybody with an interest in exploring my writings.
Even though I focus on crime/thriller fiction and short stories, the emphasis is on interesting personalities in delightfully entertaining and engaging situations.
Fellow Writers/Readers
Writing is a give-and-take process. This includes a willingness to be open and accept constructive criticism and other valuable input. I always encourage an open dialogue with fellow writers and avid readers to hone my craft. With that, I am active in several local, state, and national writing organizations.
Publishers, Editors
The goal of any writer is to put their work in front of a receptive audience. To that end, I will continue to establish positive professional relationships with interested publishers and editors.
Contact me with any questions, suggestions or input you may have. Be a part of this exciting new phase of life, love, health, and happiness.
